3.Working Principleof XJYs box-type uf ultrafiltration

The core technology of XJY's box-type ultrafiltration equipment focuses on ultrafiltration membranes. It is a thin film with an asymmetric structure, consisting of an active layer of 0.1-1μm and a porous support layer of 100-200μm. The pore size of the active layer is between 0.001-0.1μm. Driven by a pressure of 0.1-0.7MPa, impure water flows through the ultrafiltration membrane. With the screening effect, water molecules and soluble salts, small molecular organic matter and other smaller solute molecules can pass through the micropores, while bacteria, viruses, colloids, macromolecular organic matter and other larger impurities are intercepted, just like squeezing a mixture of sand and water, water passes through the sieve holes and sand is blocked. At the same time, the ultrafiltration process will cause concentration polarization phenomenon due to the increase of solute concentration near the membrane surface due to interception, resulting in a decrease in membrane flux and easy contamination. For this reason, the ultrafiltration system adopts cross-flow filtration to allow the raw water to flow perpendicular to the filtration direction. Part of the water becomes filtrate, and the other part takes away the intercepted substances, reducing the influence of concentration polarization and finally achieving water purification.
