XJY successfully won the bid for the Peruvian Amazon River Water Purification Project - Series 2

In June 2025,XJY successfully won the bid for the Peruvian Amazon River Water Purification Project with its outstanding technical strength and rich project experience. The project will provide safe and reliable drinking water for local residents and communities, significantly improve the quality of drinking water.

As the river with the largest flow in the world, the Amazon River has complex and changeable water quality, which places extremely high demands on purification technology. With its leading technology in the field of freshwater and brackish water purification, XJY tailored a set of efficient and energy-saving containerized integrated water purification solutions for this project.

What are the highlights of the integrity water solutions?

1. Efficient purification process

1. Raw water intake:

• lUse the Southern submersible pump to take water from 2-5 meters below the surface of the Amazon River. The 30-meter water intake head ensures stable water supply.

2. Pretreatment system:

• lSedimentation: The raw water inlet is equipped with sedimentation equipment. Users can add PAC for chemical precipitation according to the water quality to reduce the damage of turbid water in the rainy season to subsequent membrane components and extend the service life of ultrafiltration membranes and RO membranes.
• lSand filtration:Effectively remove suspended matter and particulate impurities in water.
• lActivated carbon filtration:Adsorb organic matter and odor to improve the taste of water.
• lWater softener: Reduce water hardness through ion exchange.
• lDescaling system: Reduce RO membrane scaling and extend the service life of the equipment.
• lSecurity filter (5 microns):intercept tiny impurities to ensure that the SDI value of water entering the RO membrane is less than 5.
• lUltrafiltration (UF):The treated water quality meets the WHO domestic water standard, with a recycling rate of up to 90%, and the filtered water is connected to the domestic water pipeline.

3.ro system:

• lThe purified water after ultrafiltration enters the Xinjieyuan XJYRO-600GPD RO all-in-one machine. After treatment, the water quality meets the direct drinking water standard, TDS＜

  50PPM

4.Post-treatment system:

• lPH adjustment: adjust the PH value of the outlet water to the drinking standard.
• lUV disinfection: kill microorganisms in the water to ensure water quality safety.

5.Filling:

• lXJY's self-designed filling machine has automatic and manual dual modes, and can fill 2 20L water buckets at the same time, saving space.

2. Containerized integrated design

Containerized integrated water purification equipment is a modular device that integrates the Water Treatment system in a standard container.

Convenient transportation: saves transportation costs and is suitable for remote areas of Peru.

Efficient installation: no need for complex civil engineering, shortening the project cycle.

Strong durability: can withstand the harsh climate of high temperature, high humidity and other harsh climates in the Amazon region for a long time.

3. What are the advantages of integrity water solutions?

High recovery rate: UF+RO design improves water utilization and reduces wastewater discharge. RO wastewater can be safely discharged into rivers or used for irrigation.

Low energy consumption design: high pressure pump and solar energy system reduce operating costs.

Solar energy system: This equipment uses solar energy to generate electricity and reduce electricity consumption.

What problems does the integrity water solutions solve?

After the completion of the river water purification project, up to 1,000 tons of domestic water and 10 tons of direct drinking water can be produced every day, solving the water safety problem in remote areas, solving the drinking water safety problem of local residents, and promoting the economic development of Peru.
